§ 45-50-28 Inconsistent provisions. –Insofar as the provisions of this chapter are inconsistent with the provisionsof any charter or other laws or ordinances, general, special, or local, or ofany rule or regulation of the state or any municipality, the provisions of thischapter are controlling.
