SECTION 45-50-29

   § 45-50-29  Applicability of other laws.– This chapter shall be construed to provide a complete, additional, andalternative method for doing the things authorized by this chapter, and shallbe regarded as supplemental and in addition to the powers conferred by otherlaws. The issuance of all bonds, notes, and other obligations of the authorityunder the provisions of this chapter need not comply with the requirements ofany other provisions of any charter or other laws, general, special, or local,or of any rule or regulation of the state or any municipality applicable to theissuance of bonds. No proceedings or notice or approval are required for theissuance of any bonds or any instrument of security for the bonds except asprovided in this chapter.
