§ 45-50-31 - Severability. - Rhode Island Statutes

SECTION 45-50-31

   § 45-50-31  Severability. – The provisions of this chapter are severable, and if any of its provisions areheld unconstitutional or invalid for any other reason by any court of competentjurisdiction, the decision of the court shall not affect or impair any of theremaining provisions. In carrying out the purposes and provisions of thischapter, all steps shall be taken which are necessary to meet constitutionalrequirements whether or not the steps are required by this chapter.
