SECTION 45-54-20

   § 45-54-20  Bonds eligible for investment.– The notes and bonds of the corporation are securities in which all publicofficers and bodies of this state and all municipalities and municipalsubdivisions, all insurance companies and associations, and other personscarrying on an insurance business, all banks, bankers, trust companies, savingsbanks, and saving associations, including savings and loan associations,building and loan associations, investment companies, and other personscarrying on a banking business, all administrators, guardians, executors,trustees, and other fiduciaries, and all other persons whatsoever who are nowor may hereafter be authorized to invest in bonds or other obligations of thestate, may properly and legally invest funds, including capital, in theircontrol or belonging to them.
