SECTION 45-54-24

   § 45-54-24  Applicability of other laws.– This chapter shall be construed to provide a complete additional andalternative method for doing the things authorized hereby and shall be regardedas supplemental and in addition to the powers conferred by other laws. Theissuance of all bonds, notes, and other obligations of the corporation underthe provisions of this chapter need not comply with the requirements of anyother provision of any charter or other law, general, special or local, or ofany rule or regulation of the state or the municipality applicable to theissuance of bonds. No proceedings or notice or approval are required for theissuance of any bonds, or any instrument of security for them, except asprovided in this chapter.
