SECTION 45-55-11

   § 45-55-11  Responsibilities of bidders andofferors. – (a) A written determination of responsibility of a bidder or offeror shall bemade in accordance with regulations issued by the municipality.

   (b) A reasonable inquiry to determine the responsibility of abidder or offeror may be conducted. The failure of a bidder or offeror topromptly supply information in connection with a reasonable inquiry may begrounds for a determination of nonresponsibility with respect to a bidder orofferor.

   (c) Except as otherwise provided, by law, informationfurnished by a bidder or offeror pursuant to this section may not be disclosedoutside of the purchasing department administering the contract without priorwritten consent of the bidder or offeror.
