SECTION 45-56-3

   § 45-56-3  Powers regarding motor vehicleparking. – In addition to the powers enumerated in § 45-56-2, the ordinanceestablishing the downtown center special services district may confer upon thedistrict some or all of the following powers:

   (1) To construct, acquire, or obtain a lease-hold interest ina motor vehicle parking facility, within or without the district;

   (2) To operate a motor vehicle parking facility, within orwithout the district;

   (3) To lease or sublease to other parties motor vehicleparking facilities; and

   (4) To enter into, fund and perform agreements which reducethe cost of motor vehicle parking to residents of the district and to employeesof, and those doing business with, businesses located within the district.
