SECTION 45-7-1

   § 45-7-1  Clerk's bond. – Every town clerk shall, within thirty (30) days of the time of being sworn intooffice, give bond to the town treasurer of the town, with sufficient surety, inthe sum that the town council prescribes, conditioned for the faithfulperformance of the duties of the clerk's office.
