SECTION 45-7-4

   § 45-7-4  Bond of deputy – Revocationof appointment. – Every town clerk appointing a deputy as provided in § 45-7-2 isresponsible for the good conduct of the deputy and may take bond with suretyfor any penalty that the clerk may require, conditioned for the faithfuldischarge of the duties of the office for the time during which the deputyexercises those duties. The clerk may revoke the appointment and cancel thebond, at the clerk's discretion.
