§ 45-8-1 - Bond of treasurer.
SECTION 45-8-1
§ 45-8-1 Bond of treasurer. – Every town treasurer, before he or she proceeds to discharge the duties of thetreasurer's office, shall give bond to the town for which the treasurer isappointed, in the sum and with the surety that is satisfactory to the towncouncil, conditioned for the faithful discharge of the duties of that office.
