§ 46-12.7-2.1 - Fund established. - Rhode Island Statutes

SECTION 46-12.7-2.1

   § 46-12.7-2.1  Fund established. – (a) A fund is hereby established in the state general fund to be called the"oil spill prevention, administration, and response fund". The fund shallassume the full contents of the fund previously known as the oils releaseresponse fund. The director shall continue to administer the fund.

   (b) Money from an appropriation made to the fund remaining inthe fund at the end of a fiscal year shall remain available for expenditure insuccessive fiscal years.

   (c) The fund shall be used for only those purposes enumeratedin § 46-12.7-5.1.
