§ 46-12.8-22 - Supplemental powers – Inconsistent laws.

SECTION 46-12.8-22

   § 46-12.8-22  Supplemental powers –Inconsistent laws. – The provisions of this chapter shall be deemed to provide an additional,alternative, and complete method for accomplishing the purposes of thischapter, and shall be deemed and construed to be supplemental and additionalto, and not in derogation of, powers conferred upon the agency, the department,local governmental units and private water companies by other laws; provided,however, that insofar as the provisions of this chapter are inconsistent withthe provisions of any general or special law, municipal charter, administrativeorder or regulation, the provisions of this chapter shall be controlling. Anyamounts appropriated by this chapter to the agency or the department shall bein addition to any other amounts appropriated to the agency or the departmentby any other law.
