SECTION 46-15.1-19

   § 46-15.1-19  Surface reservoirs. –Notwithstanding the foregoing, no provision of this chapter, nor any languagecontained therein, shall allow or permit any funds, proceeds, revenues, orother sums of money derived by, through, or from the issuance of revenue bondsas authorized under this chapter, to be used for the design or construction ofany surface reservoirs, without the approval of the general assembly, or to beused in connection with the acquisition of sites for the development of surfacereservoirs through the exercise by the water resources board of the power ofeminent domain as provided under § 46-15.1-5(15) and in accordance withthe provisions of chapter 6 of title 37.
