SECTION 46-15.3-3

   § 46-15.3-3  Purposes and powers. –The purposes of the board and the suppliers under this chapter shall be toprotect the quality and safety of the public drinking water supply. In carryingout the foregoing purposes the board shall have, in addition to the powersgranted in this chapter, all of the powers enumerated in chapter 15.1 of thistitle, and shall have the power to acquire interests in land in the mannerprovided in § 46-15.1-5, but in exercising these powers, the board shallnot be subject to any limitation on the use of funds contained in §46-15.1-19.
