SECTION 46-17.1-1

   § 46-17.1-1  Transporting of waste anddredge materials over state waterways prohibited. – Except as permitted under § 46-23-18.1 or otherwise, no person, either asprincipal, agent, or servant, shall transport or cause to be transported, dump,or cause to be dumped within the territorial waters of the state, any waste ordredge material. Every person who shall violate any provision of this sectionshall, upon conviction, be fined not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000) orbe imprisoned not more than one year, or both, for each offense.
