SECTION 46-18-3

   § 46-18-3  Jury trial of damages. –Whenever any plaintiff in any action shall recover a final judgment for damagesagainst the defendant, the question of the amount of the damages shall, unlessotherwise agreed by the parties, be tried by a jury on a day to be appointed bythe superior court.
