SECTION 46-2-11

   § 46-2-11  State contributions whereappropriation made by city or town. – Where an appropriation has been made by any city or town council for thatpurpose, and where an appropriation has also been made by the general assemblyfor that purpose, the director of the department of environmental management,with the approval of the governor, is authorized to provide for the payment bythe state of not more than one-half (1/2) of the cash contribution required bythe United States, for the improvement or protection project.
