SECTION 46-2-22

   § 46-2-22  Compliance with federal andlocal rules. – The flood control project or projects shall be carried out and executed in allrespects subject to the provisions of the appropriate federal law providing forthe project, and the rules and regulations made pursuant thereto, and to suchterms, conditions, rules, and regulations, not inconsistent with the federallaw, as the city or town may, with the approval of the governor, establish toensure the proper execution of the project or projects.
