   § 46-25-11  Power to acquire land. –For any purposes of this chapter, the commission may, at any time and from timeto time, take by eminent domain or acquire by purchase or otherwise, such land,water rights, easements, and other property or interests in property, publicand private, as it may determine necessary or desirable for the purposes ofthis chapter.
