SECTION 46-25-17

   § 46-25-17  Use of federal and state funds.– The commission may, for the purpose of carrying out the project or any partthereof herein authorized, accept or use any federal or state funds orassistance, or both, provided therefor under any federal or state law. In theevent that federal or state funds or assistance are made available forexecution of the project, the project shall be carried out and executed in allrespects subject to the provisions of the appropriate federal and state lawsproviding for the construction of the projects, and the rules and regulationsmade pursuant thereto, and to such terms, conditions, rules and regulations,not inconsistent with the federal and state law, rules, and regulations, as thecommission may establish to insure the proper execution of the project.
