SECTION 46-25-49

   § 46-25-49  Severability. – If any provisions of this chapter or of any rule, regulation, or order madethereunder, or the application thereof to any person or circumstances, is heldinvalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remainder of this chapter,rule, regulation, or order, and the application of the provision to otherpersons or circumstances shall not be affected thereby. The invalidity of anysection or sections or parts of any section or sections of this chapter shallnot affect the validity of the remainder of this chapter, and it is herebydeclared to be the legislative intent that this chapter would have been enactedif the invalid parts had not been included therein.
