§ 46-28-6 - Officers of the council and quorum.
SECTION 46-28-6
§ 46-28-6 Officers of the council andquorum. – Upon the passage of this act [April 20, 2006], the council shallelect from among the members a chair and a vice-chair. Thereafter, the councilshall annually elect in February a chair and vice-chair from among the members.The council may elect from among its members such other officers as they deemnecessary. Six (6) voting members of the council shall constitute a quorum. Amajority vote of those present and voting shall be required for action.
