SECTION 46-5-2

   § 46-5-2  Filing of description, plat, andstatement as to land to be condemned. – Whenever the department of environmental management has decided to take bycondemnation such land or any estate or interest in land, and the phrase "suchland" as used in §§ 46-5-2 – 46-5-8 shall be deemed to describeand apply to whatever land or estate or interest in land is condemnedhereunder, the department of environmental management shall cause to be filedin the records of land evidence of the city or town where such land is situateda description and plat of such land and also a statement that such land istaken pursuant to the provisions of this chapter, which description, plat, andstatement shall be signed by the director of the department of environmentalmanagement.
