SECTION 46-9-14

   § 46-9-14  Fall River pilots. – A person holding a Massachusetts pilot's license for the port of Fall Rivermay, upon application to the commission and payment of a fee of fifty dollars($50.00) to the State of Rhode Island and satisfactorily passing an examinationgiven by the commission under this chapter covering those waters in RhodeIsland which are normally used by shipping when entering or departing from theport of Fall River, be issued a Rhode Island license limited to those waters ofthe state for which he or she was examined, and the issuance of this licenseshall also be subject to such other provisions of this chapter as thecommission shall deem applicable; provided, however, that the holder of thelicense shall not cause any vessel to stop at any Rhode Island port.
