SECTION 46-9-26

   § 46-9-26  Penalty for violations. –Any person who shall violate any provision of this chapter, or any rule,regulation, or order issued by the commission pursuant thereto, shall besubject to a civil penalty, to be assessed by the commission, of not less thanfive hundred dollars ($500) nor more than one thousand dollars ($1,000). In thecase of a continuing violation, each day's continuance thereof shall be deemedto be a separate and distinct offense.
