SECTION 5-15-1

   § 5-15-1  Persons subject to chapter.– For the purposes of this chapter, "itinerant vendors", is construed to mean andinclude all persons, both principals and agents, who engage in a temporary ortransient business in this state, either in one locality or in traveling fromplace to place selling goods, wares, and merchandise, and who, for the purposesof carrying on that business, hire, lease, or occupy any building or structurefor the exhibition and sale of goods, wares, and merchandise.
