SECTION 5-16-3

   § 5-16-3  Application for permit. –Application for a permit shall be made in any form and shall contain anyinformation as to the public laundry for which it is desired that the licensingauthorities require. Application for a permit may be made at any time. Withinforty (40) days after the receipt of an application, the licensing authoritiesshall determine whether or not the permit applied for shall be granted. Thelicensing authorities shall give the applicant for, or holder of, any permit,notice, in writing, of any decision they may make in relation to the permit.Any applicant or holder aggrieved by the decision may within thirty (30) daysafter receipt of that notice, appeal the decision to the superior court for thecounties of Providence and Bristol. That court shall hear the appeal as soon asit may be heard and determine the appeal.
