§ 5-2-14 Continuation of powers of boardsand bureaus of police commissioners. – Whenever the powers conferred in this chapter by law upon city and towncouncils have been conferred upon boards or bureaus of police commissioners inany city or town, those powers shall continue to be exercised by those boardsor bureaus of police commissioners.
