SECTION 5-20.5-9

   § 5-20.5-9  Temporary license issued torepresentative of deceased broker. – In the event of the death of a licensed real estate broker who is the soleproprietor of a real estate business, the director shall, upon application byhis or her legal representative, issue, without examination, a temporarylicense to that legal representative, or to an individual designated by him orher and approved by the director, upon filing of the required bond and thepayment of the prescribed fee, which authorizes the temporary licensee tocontinue to transact the business for a period not to exceed one year from thedate of death.
