SECTION 5-20-38

   § 5-20-38  Individual sewage disposalsystem (ISDS) installers – Work permitted. – Any person who is a licensed individual sewage disposal system installer underthe provisions of chapter 56 of this title is authorized to make residentialwater supply connections to residential dwellings consisting of three (3) unitsor less both public and/or private at the source of the public and/or privatesupply for the purpose of installation, alteration, and/or repair. Waterinstallations, alterations and repairs mean and include the piping andconnections from the source of public and/or private water supply to thebuilding or premises. Licensed individual sewage disposal system installers arerequired to comply with city or town permits and inspection requirements as towater supply installations, alterations, and/or repairs. In no event shalllicensed individual sewage disposal system installers be allowed to perform anywork on fittings or fixtures beyond the initial premises connection.
