SECTION 5-22-1

   § 5-22-1  City and town regulatory powers.– The city and town councils may license, regulate, and in those certain casesspecifically set forth in § 5-22-5, prohibit and suppress theatricalperformances, rope, and wire dancing and all other shows and performances intheir respective towns or cities, conforming to law.
