SECTION 5-22-2

   § 5-22-2  City and town licenses forexhibitions. – Town and city councils may grant a license, for a term not exceeding one year,under any restrictions and regulations that they think proper, to the owner ofany house, room, or hall in the town or city, for the purpose of permittingexhibitions in them. The license is revocable at the pleasure of the town orcity council.
