   § 5-29-35  Liability of employers andaccomplices. – Any person who employs, hires, procures, or induces any other person notauthorized by the provisions of this chapter to perform any act whichconstitutes the practice of podiatry in this state or aids or abets one notauthorized in that practice is guilty of a felony punishable by a fine of notless than two thousand dollars ($2,000) nor more than five thousand dollars($5,000), or by imprisonment for not more than two (2) years, or by both fineand imprisonment.
