SECTION 5-29-5

   § 5-29-5  Power of the director. – The director has the following duties and powers:

   (1) To issue, pursuant to any rules and regulationspromulgated by the board and approved by the director, all licenses andregistrations required by this chapter to duly qualified applicants;

   (2) To deny licenses and registrations, to revoke, suspend,or otherwise discipline licensees in accordance with the provisions of thischapter; and

   (3) To exercise all other powers, specifically conferred uponthe director by virtue of the provisions of this chapter or other applicablesections of the general laws of the state.
