SECTION 5-31.1-19

   § 5-31.1-19  Grounds for discipline withouthearing. – The director may, temporarily, suspend the license of a dentist or dentalhygienist or limited registrant without a hearing if the director finds thatevidence in his or her possession indicates that a dentist or dental hygienistor limited registrant continuing in practice would constitute an immediatedanger to the public. In the event that the director temporarily suspends thelicense of a dentist, dental hygienist or limited registrant without a hearing,a hearing by the board must be held within ten (10) days after the suspensionhas occurred.
