§ 5-32-17 - Qualifications for teaching electrolysis.

SECTION 5-32-17

   § 5-32-17  Qualifications for teachingelectrolysis. – (a) A person in order to qualify as an instructor or teacher of electrolysis toapprentices must:

   (1) Have been actively engaged as a licensed practitioner ofelectrolysis for at least five (5) years.

   (2) Pass a state board examination specifically designed toevaluate his or her qualifications to teach electrolysis.

   (3) Be a high school graduate or the equivalent.

   (b) Upon satisfactorily passing this examination, thedivision of professional regulation of the department of health shall issue alicense to the person upon the payment of a fee of eighty dollars ($80.00).

   (c) A qualified licensed electrologist shall not registermore than one apprentice for each nine (9) month training period.
