   § 5-35.1-13  Board of optometry –Appointment of members. – The director shall appoint a board of optometry. The board shall consist offive (5) members, all of whom shall be residents of the state, four (4) of whomshall be licensed optometrists engaged in the practice of optometry for atleast five (5) years prior to their appointment, and there shall be one publicmember. The members shall be appointed for terms of three (3) years; eachmember may serve a maximum of two (2) consecutive full terms.
