   § 5-5.1-9  Investigation and action onapplication. – After an examination of the application and any further inquiry andinvestigation that he or she deems proper and necessary as to the goodcharacter, competency, and integrity of the applicant and the persons named inthe application, the attorney general shall as soon as practicable issue alicense in a form prescribed by him or her to the applicant or notify theapplicant of a denial of the license application.
