SECTION 5-5-11

   § 5-5-11  Surrender of license. – Each license shall be surrendered to the local licensing authority withinseventy-two (72) hours after it has been revoked or after the licensee ceasesto do business pursuant to an order of suspension. If, the local licensingauthority or a court of competent jurisdiction has pending before it any matterrelating to the renewal, revocation, or transfer of a license, the licenseeshall not be required to surrender the license until the matter has beenadjudicated and all appeals have been exhausted; provided, that a stay has beenobtained in accordance with the provisions of this chapter pertaining tojudicial review.
