§ 5-63.1-4 - Confidentiality of reports.

SECTION 5-63.1-4

   § 5-63.1-4  Confidentiality of reports.– (a) Reports and records may be disclosed only to appropriate staff of aregulatory or a law enforcement agency within this state for the purposes ofinvestigation or prosecution.

   (b) The attorney general's office and the professionallicensing or certifying board within this state may exchange information from areport or record on the same subject.

   (c) Whoever intentionally violates this section, or permitsor encourages the unauthorized dissemination or use of information contained inreports and records made under this section, is guilty of a misdemeanor andshall be subject to a fine of up to one thousand dollars ($1,000).
