SECTION 5-70-1

   § 5-70-1  Declaration of purpose. –In order to protect the public interest and property, assure compliance withstandards of technical competency, and promote safe practices in the act ofdesigning, installing, servicing, and testing of telecommunications systems inthis state, telecommunications are declared to be subject to regulation in thepublic interest.
