   § 5-8.1-19  Board of registration forprofessional land surveyors – Duties of recorders. – It is unlawful for the recorder of deeds or the registrar of titles or any cityor town clerk or employee of these to accept, file, or record any map, plat,replat, survey, or other documents within the definition of land surveyingwhich do not have impressed on them and affixed to them the personal signature,date, and seal of a professional land surveyor registered under this chapterand by whom or under whose direct supervision the map, plat, replat, survey, orother documents were prepared.
