   § 6-11.1-6  Persons injured by violationsof chapter – Damages and costs. – Any person who has been damaged or injured by the failure of a person requiredto be licensed under this chapter to comply with the provisions of thischapter, may recover the actual damages sustained. The court in its discretion,may also award punitive damages and/or the costs of suit and reasonableattorneys' fees to a prevailing plaintiff.
