SECTION 6-26-9

   § 6-26-9  Penalty for possession of recordsof usurious transactions. – Any person who shall, with knowledge of the contents, have in his or herpossession any document, record, paper, instrument, or other writing that shallrecord or evidence a usurious debt in violation of the provisions of §6-26-2, shall be imprisoned for not more than one year or fined not more thanfive hundred dollars ($500), or both.
