SECTION 6-35-1

   § 6-35-1  Agreements. – Any contractual agreement relating to the repair of a motor vehicle enteredinto as a direct and immediate result of an automobile collision on a publichighway, thoroughfare, or street may be rescinded at the option of the owner ofthe motor vehicle within forty-eight (48) hours after the occurrence of theaccident by presenting written notice of the rescission to the other party. Theowner of the motor vehicle shall not be liable for the cost of any repair workdone prior to the expiration of the rescission period and the motor vehiclemust be returned to the owner upon request.
