SECTION 6-9-4

   § 6-9-4  Liability for undisclosed sale oftight-pressed oil. – All oils sold under any of the names mentioned in § 6-9-3 which shall havebeen mixed with tight-pressed oil, shall be deemed tight-pressed oil; and thevendor of tight-pressed oil or of tight-pressed oil under any of the namesmentioned in § 6-9-1 shall be liable to the purchaser for double the valueof the difference between the first quality of spermaceti oil and tight-pressedoil, unless at the time of sale the vendor shall disclose to the purchaser themixture, and if not mixed, its quality; and if disclosure shall not be made thevendor shall forfeit twenty-five dollars ($25.00) to the use of the personsuing for disclosure.
