SECTION 7-1.2-1411

   § 7-1.2-1411  Amended certificate ofauthority. – (a) A foreign corporation authorized to transact business in this state shallmake application for and procure an amended certificate of authority if itchanges its corporate name, increases its number of authorized shares, ordesires to pursue in this state other or additional purposes than those statedin its prior application for a certificate of authority.

   (b) The requirements in respect to the form and contents ofthe application, the manner of its execution, the filing of the applicationwith the secretary of state, the issuance of an amended certificate ofauthority, and the effect of it, is the same as in the case of an originalapplication for a certificate of authority.
