   § 7-11-205  Application. – (a) An applicant for licensing as a broker dealer, sales representative,investment adviser, or investment adviser representative shall file with thedirector an application for licensing and a consent to service of process under§ 7-11-708. The application for licensing must contain the informationthat the director, by rule, determines is necessary.

   (b) The requirements of subsection (a) are satisfied by anapplicant who has filed and maintains a completed and current registration withthe securities and exchange commission or a self regulatory organization byfiling with the director notice of the registration in the form and contentdetermined by rule by the director and a consent to service of process under§ 7-11-708. The registration information filed with the securities andexchange commission or self-regulatory organization must be available to thedirector through a central registration depository system approved by thedirector. The director may require by order the submission of additionalinformation by an applicant.
