SECTION 7-6-82

   § 7-6-82  Amended certificate of authority.– (a) A foreign corporation authorized to conduct affairs in this state shallprocure an amended certificate of authority by making application for one withthe secretary of state if it changes its corporate name or desires to pursue inthis state other or additional purposes than those set forth in its priorapplication for a certificate of authority.

   (b) The requirements as to the form and contents of theapplication, the manner of its execution, the filing of the original with thesecretary of state, the issuance of an amended certificate of authority and itseffect, are the same as in the case of an original application for acertificate of authority.
