SECTION 7-7-12

   § 7-7-12  Transfer of stock. – The transfer of common stock of an association is restricted to persons engagedin the production of the products handled by an association subject to anyprovisions in its articles or bylaws consistent with this chapter. Anassociation may provide in its articles or bylaws that it is to have the priorright to purchase on any terms that it determines, any of its common stock thatmay be offered for sale.
